Local Tucson Tamale locations in Tucson are honored to be included in the very first Tucson Chinese Chorizo Festival! Starting Friday, October 13 until Sunday October 30th with our Oracle location serving up Chinese Chorizo the weekend of the 22nd and our Tanque Verde location serving the weekend of the 29th.
The Chinese Chorizo Festival celebrates the fusions of cultures and food through the creation of Chinese Chorizo. The city-wide festival was created to uplift its lost origin story in some 114 Chinese grocery stores that were founded by Mexican and Chinese immigrant allyship during the 1880-1960s.
