Green Chile & Cheese Tamale Casserole Recipe

Nothing says "home" like a warm, delicious casserole. Now, you can make that casserole with all of your favorites from Tucson Tamale.


  • 6 Green Chile and Cheese Tamales (Steamed to room temperature)
  • 2 cups Green Chile Salsa
  • ½ cup White Onion
  • ½ cup Sweet Corn
  • 1 bag of Mexican Cheese
  • ½ cup Black Olives
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper

Directions: First preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a casserole dish and lay the tamales flat. Use the base of a glass to flatten the tamales so they cover the base of the dish. Cover the tamales with half the Mexican cheese. Then pour the green chile sauce on top. Next sprinkle the onion and sweet corn and add the salt and pepper. Finish with another layer of Mexican cheese and top it with black olives. Finally bake for 30 minutes and serve immediately.
